Daniel Remondini graduated in Physics in 1997 in Bologna University, and received his Ph.D. in Physics in 2001 in the same university, with theses related to the study of neural networks models for the modeling of synaptic plasticity.
Currently Full Professor at the Physics Dept. of Bologna University.
He works in the application of mathematical models in Biology, such as Network Theory for the study of Complex Systems, and the development of innovative algorithms for the analysis of high dimensional biological data (multiple omics, NGSeq, Metagenome, Neuroimaging).
He is author of about 130 scientific papers published in international journals, and various contributions on books and conferences (h-index 32, >3500 citations, SCOPUS).
