Learning outcomes
This unit provides students with knowledge on the labour market by participating in seminars, conferences and activities with companies or external institutions. The unit provides also transferable skills into their future working activities like project management, team working, presentation and writing.
Course contents
The course provides educational experiences that challenge students to develop transferable skills such as project management, bibliographical research, academic writing and presentations and effective collaboration within an international team.
Teaching methods
Participation to activities:
Students are expected to take part in seminars, lectures on specific topic, interactions with invited scholars, dedicated lectures at a winter/summer schools, webinars organized or hosted by leading international institutions.
If a practical activity is involved, all students must attend Module 1, 2 online, while Module 3 on health and safety is to be attended in class. Information about Module 3 attendance schedule is available on the website of the degree programme.
Assessment methods
Students who have completed 45 hours of activities must submit the corresponding certificates by e-mail and register for one of the recording sessions.
It should be noted that, since this is a second-semester learning activity, it can only be recorded after the end of the second semester.
