Ability to manage the pateinet.doctor relationship when problems arise regarding decision of treatment, of end of life, of life at the beginning
Course contents
The Forensic Medicine module will translate ethical and legal reflections on the following topics into the medical field:
doctor-patient relationship, how to manage it for an informed choice based on shared decision-making and how to manage the patient's refusal both to be informed and to treatment
abortion: the doctor's duties and conscientious objection
assisted suicide, deep palliative sedation, advance care planning from a medical point of view with in-depth analysis of palliative care.
