27880 - Work Placement (2nd cycle) (G.A)

Academic Year 2017/2018

Learning outcomes

At the end of the internship, the student, through practical experience with public Institutions such as superintendencies, museums or archaeological societies, understands and gets acquainted with everything that concerns the work of the archeologist.

Course contents

Training is an activity done with a different institution rather than the University. It is a precious opportunity to become familiar with the professional aspects of the job and to acquire a specific training, extremely difficult to achieve within the University.

Thanks to a wide network of institutional contacts is possible for a student of the Master degree to experience the professional aspects of a job in an archaeological museum, in the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage or other archaeological institution or private foundations. The aim of the training is to acquire specific knowledge on management and operative techniques in a specific professional field.
