Learning outcomes
The course aims to explore and rationalize the advantages and disadvantages of commonly used pharmacological treatments for highly prevalent diseases of growing interest in internal medicine, such as gastroenterological, hepatological and cardiovascular disorders.
In particular, the course will follow a teaching methodology based on a reasoned and practical approach to therapeutic decision-making, in full synergy with the teaching of medical therapy.
This educational strategy is intended to facilitate active and practice-oriented learning, in view of the increasing challenge posed by internistic comorbidities and the consequent growing use of polypharmacotherapy.
