Currently, President of the Italian Nutraceutical Society (SINut), Scientific chariman of the Italian Society of Nutrition Sport and Well-being (SINSeb), President of the regional sections of the Italian Cardiovascular Disease Prevention (SIPREC) and of the Italian Hypertension Society (SIIA) .

Author of more than 600 full-papers Scopus H-index>60) published on international peer-reviewed medical journals, mainly in the fields of cardiovascular disease prevention (epidemiology, prognosis, management) and nutraceutical research.
