Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students will have acquired fundamental knowledge of plant diseases and their causal agents, including biotic and abiotic factors, with particular focus on the diseases and pathogens of major environmental relevance. Students will understand the processes involved in disease development, emergence, and dissemination within plant populations and will be able to critically evaluate plant health problems and apply appropriate strategies for their management and prevention.
