Learning outcomes
The module aims to support the development of a technical product involving various industrial manufacturing processes.
At the end of the course, the student:
- is able to approach the design process with an understanding of the industrial processes required to produce each component of the designed product;
- is able to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different manufacturing techniques in relation to the aesthetic, economic, and performance outcomes each method can offer.
