Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the students have general and specific knowledge of the development of settlement typologies and settlement patterns in the Middle Ages through the interactions between historical processes and spatial characterisations. The student can make appropriate use of archaeological data, sources and tools of different types; they have specific and interdisciplinary knowledge of the evolution of medieval settlements and their materiality and are able to plan and carry out an effective communication of particular contents also within heterogeneous work groups and cultural contexts.
