Teaching methods
Lectures. Throughout the lectures, clinical cases and testing simulations will be presented and role-played. Seminars with experts in clinical assessment tools in several psychological settings will be planned.
Assessment methods
The final evaluation will last 1 hour and will consist in two open-ended questions. One question aims to verify the acquisition of a detailed knowledge of assessment instruments and their applicability in diverse clinical contexts (the “theoretical question”). The second question may be either theoretical or consist in a brief clinical case through which the students will identify the appropriate clinical measures and formulate a comprehensive clinical judgment of the case through the collection of clinical information and indexes.
The following criteria will be used to pass the exam: congruency and completeness of both test answers; critical elaboration of the presented contents; accuracy of the technical language. The exam will be judged according to the Italian Exam Grade which uses a 30-point scale that can be divided into failing (0 to 17) and passing (18 to 30 cum laude) grades.
During the exam students are not allowed to consult any materials, such as textbooks, notes, electronic devices.
To take the exam, students must enroll through AlmaEsami online service within the deadline. For any concerns and questions please the International Relations Office.
