Course contents
FOR THE EXAM IS ESSENTIAL A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF CONTEMPORARY HISTORY, PUBLIC OPINION AND MASS CULTURE.
IT HAS TAKEN FOR GRANTED THAT STUDENTS WHO DECIDES TO CHOOSE THIS EXAM ARE CAREFUL READER OF NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES.
THE STUDENTS ATTEND AT THE LESSONS DURING THE COURSE WILL WRITE IN ITALIAN 8 SHORT ARTICLES (290 words).
THESE ARTICLES ARE ESSENTIAL TO GIVE THE EXAM ON THE LAST DAY OF CLASSES - ABOUT text on the GROUP 1 - MAINLY FOCUSED on the THEMES of the lessons.
IF YOU PASS THIS EXAM, YOU WILL STUDY JUST ONE BOOK (choosen by groupe 2) FOR THE REAL FINAL EXAM IN JUNE.
It needs to choose two books, one in group number 1, one in Group number 2 and a paper in the review "Journalism Studies"

Teaching methods
COMPARED TO THE CLASSICAL APPROACH OF HISTORY OF JOURNALISM COURSES, BASED ON THE HISTORY OF NEWSPAPERS AND ON THE ROLE OF THE DIRECTORS, THE COURSE IS FOCUSING ON THE THE PROFESSION OF JOURNALIST FROM THE BEGINNING OF TWENTY CENTURY TO THE PRESENT DAY.
IT'S GOING TO BE CALLED AN ACTIVE PRESENCE IN TERMS OF DIALOGUE AND INTERACTION WITH STUDENTS.

A multiple choise test with 10 questions:
5 questions for the books into the group one
4 questions for the books into the group two
1 question for the paper
