Exchange students @unibo: Check-in

To start your mobility period you need to check-in.

Check promptly how to access the desks and access the desks after your arrival in Italy.

Notify the staff that you want to start an on-site mobility and show:

  • if you are a EU student: your passport or ID card;
  • if you are a non-EU student: passport with Visa;
  • your name inbound travel ticket to Italy (for example your flight ticket). The trip must already be done. If you do not have it, contact the Exchange Student Desk or the International Relations Offices on your Campus well in advance.

On Check-in you get:

  • your Certificate of Arrival (a Certificate of Attendance that only shows the mobility start date) with digital stamp.

You will also be sent an e-mail with a QR CODE that you will have to use to print your badge at one of the self-service machines at the University.

If you are a non-EU student, on Check-in you receive information about the Residence Permit and the Certificate of Arrival which you must enclose with your application.

Important:

  • the mobility start date is the first working day (Monday to Friday) following your entry into Italy, that you will prove with your name inbound travel ticket to Italy (for example your flight ticket in your name);
  • you can attend lectures even if you have not checked in yet.
