Each programme has a tutor, a student like you, or other people who can give you valuable advice during your university experience. You will find the references on the contact page of your programme’s website.

Renew your enrollment every year
To be able to take exams, remember to pay the fees every year from the end of July within the deadlines.

Renew your residence permit
If you are a citizen of a non-EU country, check every year when you need to renew your residence permit.

Preparing your study plan
Each year, in two different periods, you can choose which course units to sign up to. Follow the instructions on your programme website on the 'Preparing your study plan' page.

Check the class timetables and attend lectures
Each programme has a lecture schedule, and for some attendance is compulsory. Plan ahead by looking at the 'Lecture Schedule' page on your programme website.

Explore the study material
On the web page of each programme, you will find the list of books and other teaching materials. Study books can be borrowed from the library. To find the list of course units, consult the 'course structure diagram' on your programme website.

Prepare for and sit the exams
After the lectures and your own studies, you can sit the exam. The exam dates are published on the 'Exam sessions' section on your programme website or in the AlmaEsami application.
Play an active part in the life of the University
AMA: the Alumni Association where ideas, interests, opportunities can be shared.

Assessment language tests - Erasmus mobility for study
To participate in the Erasmus+ mobility for Studies call for applications, all candidates are required to assess their language skills. Register for the test by 10 November.
Join the Field Work programme 2026/27
You can spend an international mobility carrying out “field work” activities at NGOs (non-governmental organisations) or other actors active in development cooperation. Deadline: 11 November.
SkillGameLab - 4th edition
Take part in 4th edition of the experiential programme which, through game-based activities, will help you develop key soft skills to approach the job market. Register by 19 November.
Overseas 2027/28 call for applications
Take part in the Overseas programme to study at a university outside Europe that is part of the Programme. Deadline: 12 November.
If your job interview were tomorrow, how would you get on?
Put yourself to the test with mock interviews and group activities, and find out – with feedback from a recruiter – how to approach your next interviews with greater confidence, whilst earning an Open Badge. Take part to the event on 13 November.
Student collaboration activities - 150 hours
If you want to engage in collaboration activities with the University, either in Bologna or at the Campuses, apply by 26 November.
Mentoring: talk to someone who has already made choices similar to yours
From November 2026 to May 2027, take part in this programme, which will help you gain a better understanding of career paths, choices and aspects of the world of work.

TASSEP – Trans-Atlantic Science Student Exchange Program
Join the programme which offers students the opportunity to study abroad while paying tuition fees at their home institution with no additional costs. Deadline: 16 January 2027.
