At the end of the course, students will handle theoretical and practical knowledge on social-psychological processes underlying teamwork with a specific focus on leader-members relationships, conflict management and development of creativity-innovation outcomes .

Metodi didattici

The course aims also to strenghten students' logicaland critical reasoning and to motivate them to actively contribute the acquisition of knowledge on the topics of the course.

In this vein, the course will be will be co-constructed among teacher and students

through:

Lectures

Group role playing and simulation of group dynamics

Presentations of team work outcomes on scientific reading and personal-collective reflection to the class

Open discussion of the issues addressed

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

-Oral presentations of articles of small groups of students to the class will be evaluated at the collective level

-Students will be required to write an essay in which they address a topic of the course  starting from the knowledge they acquired through their presentation of an article, either related to team creativity, or team diversity or team processes. They are then requested to study the other articles suggested by the professor on the same topic and to integrate their argumentation on the basis of  the notes they took during the presentation and discussion  of other articles   presented by their fellow mates together with the notes and criticism advanced  by the professor. As a final step they are required to describe the prarctical implications of their argumentation in the field of team processes    

-Evaluation criteria are completeness and rationality of the propositions provided in the essay
