Learning outcomes
M-PSI/03: By the end of the laboratory course the student: - will master psychological testing administration procedures; - will be familiar with data analyses and their use.
M-PSI/08: By the end of the laboratory the student: - will be able to discriminate between different psychotherapeutic techniques, with particular regard to the CBT approach; - will be able to understand the proper application of certain techniques to clinical cases.
Course contents
M-PSI/03:
SPSS statistical package will be used throughout the lessons to master multivariate analysis tecniques. Research hypotheses will be tested during the course.
M-PSI/08:
Psychological assessment and case conceptualization according to the CBT model
Basic principles of CBT and their clinical applications
Behavioral techniques
Elements of cognitive therapy
Case examples (with specific regard to mood and anxiety disorders)

Statistical skills acquired will be evaluated trough specific SPSS excercises and assignments during the laboratory.
M-PSI/08:
