Boltanski has been presented with national and international awards and has taught at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris for many years.

After the ceremony, the following academics will be awarded the title of Professor Emeritus: Gianni Braghieri, Gian Paolo Brizzi, Maria Gabriella Campadelli, Carlo Cipolli, Gabriele Falciasecca, Nadir Mario Maraldi, Guido Sarchielli, Angelo Varni.
