Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, thestudent:
- knows the main lines of research in chemistry education;
- recognizes the main cognitive difficulties of chemistry;
- contextualizes the founding nuclei of the discipline from a historical-epistemological point of view;
- critically discusses the didactic transpositions of the founding nuclei of chemistry that can be adopted in secondary school classes both in the classroom and in laboratory environments.
Course contents
The difficulties of learning (and teaching) chemistry.
The logical and hierarchical structure of chemistry.
The particle model at the basis of chemistry learning-teaching.
Examples of teaching approaches from a selection of chemistry topics.
On some didactic sequences, active exercises will be carried out in the classroom with the students
