Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student:
knows the main lines of research in chemistry education;
recognizes the main cognitive difficulties of chemistry;
knows the relationship between cognitive development and understanding of the founding nuclei of the discipline in their didactic transposition in the context of the guidelines of secondary schools.
Course contents
The difficulties of learning (and teaching) chemistry.
The logical and hierarchical structure of chemistry.
The particle model at the basis of chemistry learning-teaching.
Examples of teaching approaches from a selection of chemical topics.
On some didactic sequences, active exercises will be carried out in the classroom with the students.
