Learning outcomes
At the end of the module the students will be able to recognise the diverse endoscopic lesions of the lower and upper gastrointestinal-tract. they will also become confident with the different techniques of endoscopic treatment, and the management of patients who undergo routine and emergency endoscopic colonoscopies.

- Endoscopic lesions of the upper GI tract
- Endoscopic lesions of the lower GI tract
- Endoscopic lesions of the hepatobiliarypancreatic (HPB) tract
- Basic knowledge of endoscopic treatment techniques

Teaching methods
Metodi didatticiThe elective course includes two lessons, on the 11/11 (AULA LABO' Padiglione 5) and on the 19/11 (AULA LABO' Padiglione 5) from 18:00.
Besides lessons, the students are required to attend endoscopic sessions. The schedule of the endoscopic sessions will be decided with the tutors.
Assessment methods
In order to pass the elective course the students will have to attend both lessons and the endoscopic sessions.
