Course contents
The course aims to address the history and concepts of intercultural pedagogy in the terms of a critical postcolonial and intersectional pedagogy, that is, one that is sensitive to the cultural, social, historical, and political experiences of minorities and how these experiences should be known, understood, and valued in the educational and training processes of minors and adults.
The aim of the course is to construct together with students a pedagogical “sabir,” a navigational map of keywords useful for the construction of educational contexts that are welcoming, transcultural and capable of shaping and transforming themselves thanks to the diversity of stories and experiences of women, men and girls and children who pass through the places of education, training and care in which as educators we accompany them.

The bibliography will be explained at the beginning of the course. The materials will consist of articles and official reports on the topics of inclusion and interculturalism at the European level, provided by the professor.

Materials to assist working and non-attending students will be produced and made available on the platform. For this reason, study materials will also include podcasts, and attending students will be invited to share their study materials (notes, reflective materials they have produced, graphic recordings) with all students to facilitate non-attending students in particular.
Students with DSA or disabilities: it is recommended that they contact the responsible University office (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students) as soon as possible. The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, considering the teaching objectives.
