Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student knows the physical bases of radiological, radiotherapeutic and nuclear medicine techniques, with particular attention to risk assessment and limitation for operators and patients.

Imaging diagnostics (Radiology, NMR, Ultrasound).

Nuclear Medicine (Radioisotopic Imaging).

Radiotherapy.

Dosimetry and Radiation Protection.

Frontal lessons.

Assessment methods

The assessment of learning is conducted through a written test that includes multiple-choice questions with 4/5 alternative answers or open-ended questions on topics related to the course objectives. The grade will be based on the correct answers and will range from 0 to 30 cum laude. A passing grade is achieved with a score of 18 or higher. The use of a regular scientific calculator is allowed, but not books, handouts, notes, or the internet.

 

Students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) or temporary/permanent disabilities are advised to contact the University Office responsible in a timely manner (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en ). The office will be responsible for proposing any necessary accommodations to the students concerned. These accommodations must be submitted to the instructor for approval at least 15 days in advance, and will be evaluated in light of the learning objectives of the course.
