Learning outcomes
The Course is meant to offer a survey of the main theoretical models and analitycal methodologies of interpersonal communication. It focuses on miscommunication, on the links between narrative and interaction, and on implicit and non-verbal communication.
Course contents
ATTENTION please: from the examination date of 29 january
2014 the procedure will change. The examination will consist in a
multiple-choice test that will take place in the laboratories of
the Scuola di Lettere e Beni Culturali (the lab will be
specified for each examination date).
I Module
The first module will address the main theoretical models and methods used in analysing interpersonal communication. The evolution from the linear model of communication to the concept of interaction and activity systems will be treated.
II Module: Prof.ssa Roberta Lorenzetti
The second module will focus the dynamics of relation and emotion in interaction. In particular the following topics will be treated:
- relations' motivation and function
- Transactional Analysis
- listening, empathy and consciousness
- assertivity and emotions
