Renata Galatolo (PhD) is Associate professor in Psychology and member of the Communication Section of the Department of the Arts. Her main research interests include discursive psychology and conversation analysis applied to institutional, professional and ordinary interaction. Her research methodology is based on the analysis of videorecordings of natural occurring interaction.
Current research activities include doctor-patient communication, family interaction and interaction with blind people.
She teaches Narrative Psychology, Discursive Psychology, Psychology and Social Interaction, Laboratory of Ethnographic Methods.
She is member of the LIPS (Language, Interaction and Social Practices) Research Group of the Department of the Arts.
