Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the role of the media within the context of international politics and the conduct of states' foreign policy, being able to make a more informed judgement of the role of the media as subjects, instruments, and above all battlegrounds of contemporary international relations. In particular, students will acquire the necessary tools to understand how media exposure and the relationship with the media, be it conflictual or cooperative, represents today a pregnant element of international politics in peace and war situations.
