Teaching methods
During the lessons, the topics included in the course program will be exposed and developed, leaving time for students' questions and encouraging an in-depth discussion on the topics addressed.
Assessment methods
The assessment of learning takes place through a final exam that ascertains the acquisition of the expected knowledge through the performance of an oral test. This test aims to evaluate the ability to recognize and discuss the main analysis techniques used in laboratory diagnostics of infectious diseases as well as to have acquired the essential knowledge for the interpretation of laboratory results.
The exam will be held jointly with Clinical Pathology and Clinical Biochemistry. Each candidate will be asked two questions on topics from the three disciplines selected by the committee. The final grade will correspond to the average of the evaluation obtained in the individual tests.
Teaching tools
The slides will be published (pdf format) before the lessons into the virtual spaces of the website.
