Learning outcomes
After studying this course, student should be able to:

understand more systematically the knowledge and be more critically aware of educational issues in Physical education, through the Motor Praxeology lens elaborated by Pierre Parlebas

reflect critically upon and analyse perspectives regarding traditional physical games and sport activities through the "Universal Play Cathegories" theory
-
analyse and develop successful sport, play and game inclusive practices focussed upon the "decision motor behaviour" issues
-
acknowledge the validity of the Motor Praxeology conceptual frameworks as tool for investigating issues about sport and traditional game sharing and paradoxical experiences

develop techniques relevant to research planning on Sport and Traditional Motor Games

“Universals of Play”: their definitions from the Motor Praxeology viewpoint
Socio-Cultural values of both sports and traditional sport games
Sport and game activities as communication behaviours: the different semantic value of gesture and motor actions
Classification of Physical activities through Motor Praxeology categories of Social Relationships and Environmental Communications
