Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is able to:

-create a positive relationshipswith patient

-know the activities of operators of both territorial and hospital team

-run an interview with psychiatric patients using techniques to gather information (open questions, closed, stimulus, etc.)

-identify the main psychiatric disorders

-relate specifically with the patient for various psychiatric disorders

-understand the different classes of psychoactive drugs

Course contents

The clinical interview and the psychological examination. The basis for the creation of a common dialog box with other health professionals. The main psychiatric disorders with an emphasis on schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and to the characteristics of mental health in old age. Study of the clinical aspects and focus on rehabilitation.
