Learning outcomes

The course examines the different aspects of the relationship between environmental system and settlements, starting from the main definitions of biodiversity and geodiversity, the environment, landscape, habitat and ecosystem; examines the spatio-temporal scales of'landscape's evolution, with reference to the foreseen climatic variations and possible limitations and conflicts with the current management approaches and planners. Recall the major normative references and the experience of application of tools for information-information technology for the spatial analysis and environmental.
