Learning outcomes
At the end of the module the student has the knowledge and the ability to understand the instrumental methods of pregnancy control and fetal well-being.
Course contents
Ultrasound: basic principles of ultrasound Ultrasound devices: type, methods of use, equipment adjustment, sound and characteristics, the echo phenomenon. Approach to the patient. Eco office and the role of the midwife: competence, responsibility and autonomy in the practice of the Office ultrasound in pregnancy Regulations in reference to the "eco office". Ultrasound in the 1st trimester: view the gestational chamber, the embryo, the number and cardiac activity, dating of the pregnancy. Ultrasound in the II and III trimester of pregnancy: Evaluation of amniotic fluid. Evaluation of the placenta, location and characteristics Ultrasound in twin pregnancy Ultrasound in the delivery room
