Projects and initiatives

You can support specific projects or individual initiatives that are regularly proposed by the University. 

Support the project to find a cure for the intellectual disability caused by Down's syndrome

The Genomics Laboratory of the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences at the University of Bologna, under the supervision of Prof. Pierluigi Strippoli and with the contribution of researchers, has been conducting the Genome 21 Project research, aimed at discovering new therapeutic approaches to Down syndrome. The research involves 268 children with trisomy 21 and aims to produce important results that will improve the lives of people with Down syndrome.
