The integration of the equity, diversity and inclusion dimensions into training stems from the desire to promote the development of competences that enable conscious behaviours and decisions in everyday life.
Courses dedicated to specific aspects are also being consolidated:
- for fair and global communication the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Intercultural Linguistic Mediation and an international pathway in gender equality Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree GEMMA – Women’s and Gender Studies;
- and among the PhD options, the PhD Programme in Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures: Diversity and Inclusion on diversity and inclusion and the PhD Programme in Translation, Interpreting and Interculturality on interculturality.
With this purpose, teaching activities are designed with particular attention to Goal five “Gender Equality” of the Sustainable Development Goals, including within non-thematic training programmes, as evidenced by the increase in such activities from 1,027 in the 2022/23 academic year to 1,199 in 2024/25.
