Programme profile

The 2nd cycle degree in Applied Cognitive Psychology trains professional figures with specific assessment and evaluation skills in three macro-areas: 1) Cognitive functions and development processes; 2) Legal; 3) Health and well-being.Students will learn skills in the design and implementation of appropriate projects aiming to optimise and adapt cognitive, emotional and/or behavioural functioning. To achieve this outcome, the curriculum has been designed considering both modern theoretical learning and the knowledge of specific practical techniques in the different areas in which this 2nd cycle programme aims to develop in-depth vocational skills. For these reasons particular importance is given to exercises and workshops. The programme also sets out to improve English language skills (level B2). Study may include both the acquisition of the four linguistic skills (reading, writing, listening and dialogue) and compulsory attendance of lessons, in line with the criteria specified by the study programme coherently with the instructions of the Academic Bodies.

It gives access to third cycle studies (Dottorato di ricerca/Scuole di specializzazione) and master universitario di secondo livello.
