Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will acquire an advanced knowledge on some main researches in zoology which are introduced in a tutorial form and on the instruments and methods of investigation illustrated by means of experience in laboratories of the department. In particular the student will acquire the faculties to select the right experimental approach (population study, morphological, caryological, molecular), according to the different zoological research subject

The examination focuses on the achievement of the formative
purpose: To know some of the main areas of zoological research. To
know the instruments used in the research. To know the methods of
experimental approach. To be able to identify the right instrument
to face a particular problem.
The grade is determined through a written dissertation discussed
orally
