Learning outcomes
The course objective is to integrate and transfer the managerial approach and real case analysis to understand a business and the real complexity of a Company, evaluating all the aspects and functions that allow the Company to best perform on the market, with a realistic and pragmatic approach.
Course contents
The main objective of the course is to help students to understand the "real business life" in a Company, from an economical, financial and business point of view.
Starting from the analysis of a real, complex Industrial Plan, all the different aspects and areas will be detailed together with the aim to share how to work on:
- Economic and financials: revenues, costs, kpi, cash, competitive analysis, swot, etc
- Strategic implications: business model, sales and marketing, Investments, business plan, etc
All the topics will be managed with simulations based on real cases.
Some specific lessons will be focused on actual situation: digital transformation, impact of Covid 19.

Being a laboratory, there is not a reference book.

Assessment methods
At the end of the course each student will have to present a written work with the analysis of a Company (chosen inside a list given by the teacher).
