Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student acquires basic knowledge on the use of the main radiological investigation techniques. It is able to read imaging diagnostics (traditional radiology, TC, ultrasound, MR) that may be related to alterations of physiotherapy interest in some bodily districts.
Course contents
Program / Content
Interactive teacher-learning lesson on generality, main indications and diagnostic capabilities of conventional radiology techniques, ultrasound, TC (with soft tissue- bone tissue filter, MPR and 3D reconstructions), RM (scanning-sequences-weighing).
"Criteria for Correctness" and basic knowledge to evaluate a radiological, ultrasound, TC and RM study.
Radiological anatomy: joints, skeletal segments, muscles and tendons.
Importance of the clinical question.
Typical radiological signs and basic techniques for the study of inflammatory, traumatic and degenerative pathology of SHOULDER, KNEE, ELBOW, ENKLE, SPINE and PELVIS
