Course overview
The Summer School, which will last for eight weeks, will be taught in English. It awards 6 University educational credits (CFU) and has as its learning outcome providing students a satisfactory understanding of the general issues and specific aspects of the socio-cultural phenomena examined, the ability to navigate between secondary and primary sources, and the theoretical and methodological knowledge necessary to undertake a critical interpretation of inter-literary and intercultural dynamics, besides producing original research within an international environment.

The course is intended for students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programmes in the fields of languages, literatures, and cultures of Arabic-speaking countries, China, and Japan.

21 positions are reserved for students from Partner Universities, as stipulated by the multilateral Erasmus+ agreement established by the universities belonging to the partnership and signed by the AFORM Manager, Prot.
