- Course overview
- The Winter School, which will last for two weeks, will be taught in English. It awards 3 University educational credits (CFU). The BEQUEST project aims to create intergenerational value for the city of Bologna through the development of an educational framework to support a multi-level regeneration strategy designed to make housing more accessible and efficient. The project promotes sustainable, resilient and circular urban transformation, addressing challenges from the building level up to the neighbourhood and city levels. Through an integrated, multidisciplinary and multi-level approach, the proposal pursues several key objectives: • To promote European collaboration between universities and local authorities, strengthening knowledge exchange and joint learning; • To improve analytical, design and management skills to tackle a real urban challenge affecting the city of Bologna; • To develop a rigorous and replicable framework that can be applied in various European contexts to support sustainable urban regeneration strategies; • To recognise the skills acquired by students through a formal certificate of participation, highlighting their involvement in an international and interdisciplinary learning experience.
