GAIA2025 – Generative AI and Actions for a changing world is a PhD school designed to equip young researchers with a solid understanding of the mathematical, algorithmic, and application-driven aspects of Generative Artificial Intelligence. The school is aimed at PhD students in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering who have a basic familiarity with neural networks. It offers a unique blend of theoretical insights and hands-on experience, tailored to accommodate diverse academic backgrounds and foster interdisciplinary learning.

The registration includes:  

  • 3 nights of accommodation (in single or double rooms), from check-in on November 17 to check-out on November 20; 

  • breakfasts, coffee breaks, and lunches during the event;

  • the social dinner on Wednesday evening.

Selection criteria
Applicants are required to upload a motivation letter explaining their interest in the School and how the topics covered relate to their research and training goals.

Applicants are also asked to upload a curriculum vitae (CV) to allow the organizers to assess their basic knowledge of artificial intelligence and programming.
