Summer School in Web and Social Media Archiving and Preservation
The Summer School aims to offer high-level training on the emerging issues of archiving and preservation of websites and social media, which represent a new and diversified type of material whose preservation is essential for a variety of scientific fields (e.g. historical, sociological, anthropological, etc..) for the future reconstruction of current civilization. The Summer School also intends to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to encourage the development of new professionals and to start new working paths for interested students.

| Cost | La quota di iscrizione è fissata in € 400; per gli studenti iscritti alle associazioni ed agli enti patrocinanti la quota di iscrizione è ridotta a € 350; per gli studenti ed i dipendenti UniBO la quota di iscrizione è ulteriormente ridotta ad € 300. |

- La Summer School è rivolta a professionisti dei beni culturali (archivisti, bibliotecari, operatori museali), informatici, funzionari di enti pubblici ed aziende private e a studenti/dottorandi in Library and information science e in Digital humanities e, in generale, a tutti coloro che sono interessati alle questioni legate all’archiviazione e alla conservazione dei siti web, dei blog, dei social media, etc. I partecipanti acquisiranno conoscenze e competenze tecnico-teoriche spendibili in diversi contesti interdisciplinari.
