RItrainPlus training programme part 2. Research data management and policies in Research Performing Organizations and Research Infrastructures

RItrainPlus is proud to launch a new training programme specifically designed for students to introduce them to the professional role of managers and operator in a Research Infrastructure or Core Facility. The pilot programme will run starting from AY 2023-2024 and consists of a series of Learning Activities, developed and taught by RItrainPlus partners, which will be delivered in the form of winter and summer schools. Students who successfully complete all training activities will be awarded a cumulative certificate of attendance attesting their competence as future managers of Research Infrastructure and Core Facilities.

Course overview
The RItrainPlus consortium is delighted to invite PhD students, early career researchers and technicians to its Winter School n2. The programme will provide you the skills needed to manage the data from a research project, taking into account also the need to define and to implement the data policies of an institution.

Admission qualifications
Open to PhD students, young researchers and technicians with at least a master degree: no specific competence related to data or computer skills is required for course admission.
This experience is designed for students from a wide range of disciplines and serves as an introduction to the field.
Candidates will be selected based on their background and motivation. The ideal candidate will have interest in data management at European level, as well as a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with other people from around the world.
Linguistic skills
The Summer School will be taught entirely in English.
Other requirements
The selection will close on February 1, 2024, and the results will be communicated by mid-February 2024.
A certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of the Summer School.
In return for participation in the Winter School, students may apply to their relevant Course of Study for the recognition of extra-curricular CFU in type D (free choice) in SSDs related to the themes of the pathway.
