- Professional Profile
- Pursuant to Decree no. 270 of 22 October 2004 of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, for the academic year 2026-2027, Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, with Bologna as the administrative seat, will run a II level professional master programme in “Oncologic Dermatology”.
The professional master programme is activated at the proposal of the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences and in cooperation with Fondazione Alma Mater.
The professional master programme aims to: guide medical specialists:
1. in the use of the most advanced and innovative non-invasive technologies for the clinical and instrumental diagnosis of skin tumors;
2. in the understanding of laboratory techniques for the identification of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers;
3. in an introduction to surgical margin control techniques, such as Mohs surgery, used in combination. - Note

- Internship
- Internship: 500 hours and 20 ECTS credits. The internship will take place at the Oncologic Dermatology Unit of the Policlinico Sant'Orsola, directed by Prof. Emi Dika, and at the Non-coding RNAs and Cancer Biomarkers Laboratory (DIMEC-UNIBO) led by Prof. Ferracin.
For working participants, there will be the possibility to obtain the credits assigned to the internship through a combination of internship and laboratory activities together with the development of a project work related to one of the topics covered during the Master’s programme.
