- Professional Profile
- Pursuant to Decree no. 270 of 22 October 2004 of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, for academic year 2024/2025, Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, Administrative office of Bologna, will run a 2nd-level Professional Master’s Programme in “Clinical Endodontics”.
The Professional Master’s Programme has been set up on the proposal of the Department of Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences - DIBINEM and in cooperation with Fondazione Alma Mater.
The Professional Master’s Programme aims to train master students into highly professional practitioners’ individuals in the following fields: endodontics, surgical endodontics, pediatric endodontics, microscope endodontics – in order to perform 360° endodontics both in the division and in your private practice. Master students acquire the necessary skills to carry out correct endodontic diagnosis and x-ray assessment, CBCT, manage complex endodontic cases using both rotary and reciprocating systems and the ability to treat surgical endodontic cases using the operating microscope.
It is aimed to dentistry graduates and medicine graduates who wish to direct their practice in endodontics, primary teeth endodontics, surgical endodontics and implant rehabilitation. - Note
- -students with a certified legal disability of 66% or more or with a certification under Law 104/92: No. 2 places for students in excess of the maximum number is provided, subject to passing the selection. Such student will be exempted from paying tuition fees, net of any fixed costs and of the selection procedure participation fee.
Places reserved for professional staff and foreign language instructors of the University of Bologna (part-time Professional Master’s Programmes only): On part-time Professional Master’s Programmes only, two places in excess of the maximum number are reserved for professional staff and foreign language instructors of the University of Bologna. Such students will be exempted from paying tuition fees, net of any fixed costs.
Almae Matris Alumni Association: There will be 2 excess places, with reduced fees (20% less than the registration fee) for Alumni (i.e. former students of the Alma Mater Studiorum) registered with the Almae Matris Alumni Association.
Participation is open to auditors, up to 20% of enrolled students.
Those who wish to attend as auditors must inform directly the Professional Master’s Programme secretariat and will be notified of the acceptance of their request, as well as of the deadline and methods for registration and payment of the attendance fee. The attendance fee for auditors is € 3.000,00 (threethousand/00 euros) (to be paid in a single instalment upon registration). - Number of participants

- Admission qualifications
- Second / single cycle degree obtained under D.M. 270/04 or second / single cycle degree obtained under the laws previously in force (DM 509/99 and Old Regulations) in the following fields or classes: LM-41 Degree in Medicine, LM-46 Dentistry and Orthodontics;
- Second / single cycle degree obtained abroad deemed equivalent to those described in point above by the admission committee, for the purposes of admission to the Master; - Linguistic skills
