Matriculation and annual enrolment in PhD programmes requires payment of a regional fee for the right to higher education, stamp duty and an insurance premium, currently equal to € 157.04 in total (€ 140 regional fee, € 16 stamp duty and € 1.04 insurance premium) according to Article 7 bis of theUniversity Regulations on tuition fees.
Annual enrolment in the years following the first is subject to successful verification of the activities carried out and admission to the following year by the Academic Board of PhD programme degrees.
The PhD Unit, after verifying the positive outcome of admission to the following year, will send a communication to PhD students using the institutional e-mail address (@unibo.it) with information regarding the payment to be made on Studenti Online and deadlines.
PhD Students who have not paid their tuition fees cannot carry out activities relating to the PhD programme and will be excluded from the programme, with consequent interruption of their scholarship payments, if any.
How to pay the tuition fees
To pay fees, go to the 'Fee Situation - Enrolment' section of the website Studenti Online with the credentials nome.cognome@studio.unibo.it and pay the registration fee through the PagoPA system, as required by current legislation.
Persons who have forgotten their nome.cognome@studio.unibo.it username and password should see the Username and password section.
What to do in the event of missing the tuition fee payment deadline
To correct the situation, after paying the tuition fees due by visiting the 'Tuition fees - Enrolment' section of the StudentiOnline website, the PhD Student must write to aform.udottricerca@unibo.it and request calculation of the late fee, which must also be paid via the Studenti Online website.
Failure to comply with the tuition fee deadline will result in application of the following late fees:
- € 30 for those who enrol within thirty days of the deadline;
- € 150 for those who enrol from the thirty-first day after the deadline.
