The selection process has two phases:
- pre-selection at the University of Bologna, carried out online and aimed at identifying candidates interested in doing their PhD in Bologna;
- successful candidates will have to apply on the China Scholarship Council website in order to be allocated the necessary funding for participation in the PhD programme.
