Learning outcomes
During the internship for the preparation of the final examination, the student carries out research and/or practical activities in a company/organisation based abroad. The internship allows the student to acquire knowledge and professional skills useful for the preparation of the final dissertation. The dissertation is developed on the basis of a project shared with the supervisor and supported by an external tutor within the company/organisation. Through the internship, the student acquires a direct knowledge of a professional environment related to his/her studies in Economics, such as data analysis, decision processes and operational behaviours which are typical in the hosting organisation. The student develops a deep understanding of the organisation he/she is working in and is able to adapt to the internal governance rules. He/she is trained to manage relations with management, colleagues, clients and other public stakeholders. He/She enhances abilities to work in teams.
Course contents
In addition to the standard curricular internship, students may spend a period of time in a firm/institution abroad working on a a training project that will form the basis of her/his dissertation. See the link below for all relevant information.
