Course contents
This course allows students to face and enhance written academic English employing specific terminology. Students will demonstrate their skills and knowledge of the correct written register and writing structure of various text types in order to prove their advanced formal academic writing abilities.Practical reading and written work carried out by the students on three main text types: summary, essay, abstract.

All material will be provided and uploaded on VIRTUALE, the University's online platform.
Teaching methods
This course is taught completely in English and includes:
- Practical sessions on coherence and cohesive devices;
- Reading and analysis of written English texts;
- Written texts in English submitted by the students;
Teaching Modality: All classes will be held in-class.
Assessment methods
Written exam of 120 minutes.
