Short Bio

Gaia Aragrande is Fixed-term Researcher in Tenure Track at the University of Bologna. The bulk of her job as a researcher and tutor mainly concerns the fields of Communication, Translation and Applied Linguistics both in Italian and English. Her research interests revolve around the cross-linguistic analysis of political discourses and narratives, as well as news translation in all of its forms and shapes, from audio-visual news to citizen journalism. Recent developments in her research brought her to analyse and use computer-assisted as well as automated translation tools alongside the special languages of institutions and tourism. Office hours

My office hours can be taken both in person (Studio 120, Via Cartoleria 5, Bologna) and online on TEAMS via appoitment. Whitin the semester, my office hours are Tuesdays from 10.00 to 11.00. Students should anyway get in touch with me by e-mail to book a slot (other days/hours may also be available).
