Learning outcomes
This module will introduce students to the opportunities for companies as well as for the enhancement of societal well-being that the development of artificial intelligence technologies promise, as well as the major social challenges for citizens in general and policymakers in particular. Question of particular interest will concern the impact of AI on employment and income distribution, on market structure, and on the environment. At the end of the module, students will be able to critically assess the policy and social tradeoffs that Artificial Intelligence raises, and how different policies may address them.
