Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will acquire the essential knowledge required to understand the main issues, methodologies, and diagnostic significance of the most relevant biochemical parameters for the professional practice of Biomedical Laboratory Technicians. Students will gain knowledge of appropriateness in laboratory medicine, precision medicine, and the different phases of the analytical process, including the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases. In addition, students will acquire knowledge of chemical, biological, and physical risks, as well as general concepts related to laboratory tests and biomarkers.

Assessment methods
The exam consists of a written test with 11 multiple-choice questions. There are three possible answers for each question, only one of which is correct.
