Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the student: knows the main cascade reactions for the conversion of zymogens to active proteolytic enzymes involved in the digestion of nutrients; knows the biochemical mechanisms of hormonal regulation for adaptation to nutritional conditions aimed at maintaining glycemic levels within physiological conditions.
